David Kahn "COACH"
– United States Chief Instructor for the Israeli Krav Maga Association received his advanced blackbelt teaching certifications from Grandmaster Haim Gidon, the world’s highest ranked krav maga instructor. David is the only American to sit on the IKMA Board of Directors. The United States Judo Association also awarded David a fifth degree blackbelt in combat jujitsu. David has trained all branches of the U.S. military including the United States Marine Corp’s Special Operations Command (MARSOC) along with the Royal Marines including dozens of other special operations personnel. He has also taught at many respected hand-to-hand combat schools including at the Naval Special Warfare Advanced Training Command, Marine Corps Martial Arts School of Excellence, Quantico, (MACE) and U.S. Army Combatives School, Fort Benning. David has also trained more than 125 federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies including having taught at the FBI Academy (Quantico) and is a certified instructor by the State of New Jersey Police Training Commission.
Al Carson “POODIE”
– Lead Instructor for Israeli Krav Maga Western Pennsylvania (DK). Poodie received both his Civilian Level I and Law Enforcement Levels I & II Israeli Krav Maga Association teaching certifications from United States Chief Instructor David Kahn. Poodie has also completed advanced training in Israeli with Grandmaster Haim Gidon. Poodie has served in law enforcement for the past 25 years in numerous capacities including as a K-9, Narcotics and was a K-9 first responder at the September 11, 2001 World Trade Center Attack. In addition, Poodie has served as a SWAT team leader for the past 14 years having received special training from Navy SEAL CQB instructors. Collegiately, Poodie is West Virginia State University Alumnus having played center for four years. Poodie was recruited as an NFL free agent.
DeWayne Brown "DEE-WAYNE"
Twelve years ago, DeWayne Brown founded the company 2/10ths Speed & Agility to provide high-intensity training for athletes in high school, college and the pros. The Pittsburgh native started Two Tenths Speed and Agility for the simple reason that he saw that kids from the Pittsburgh area did not use proper technique when attending combines and camps. DeWayne has established himself as one of the top trainers in not just the Pittsburgh, Pa. area, but nationally for college and professional athletes. Brown has trained hundreds of Division I athletes and NFL players including perennial all-pro Aaron Donald (2017 NFL Defensive Player of the Year) and first-round draft picks such as Solomon Thomas (49ers) and many other top flight players.
